My Story

Strong. Active. Graceful.

Colombian dancer who since very young enjoyed and explored Dance and its various genres and expressions. Motivated by achieving greater academic understanding of Salsa, I began my artistic training in 2009 with salsa caleña !


Continuing with my training in salsa Casino taking classes in the company Patakki - Industria Cultural Cubana approving successfully the seven levels of the program "Rueda de Casino and Cuban popular dances". I learnt about other rythms such as ballet, bellydance and hip hop which have complemented my dance style. Having been to La Habana Cuba 3 times taking workshops in “Baila en Cuba” event, and advanced lesson with the masters “Papi Alfonzo” and “Yenizeth”

In early 2012, I was invited by the master Jesus Cabezas to participate his company ILE Danza to continue developing my skills as a teacher. 


Later, in 2015 I became member of the Company Paso Latino directed by Caterin Estrada and Nicolas Carreno where she received instruction in different Salsa styles such as Line ON1, Line ON 2, mambo, Pachanga and Colombian styles. At the same time, I was part of the semiprofessional team, participating in Local (Bogota en su salsa), National (Colombia salsa Congress) e internacional (Euroson Latino)  competition. I remained there until October 2019, when I traveled to settle in Australia. 

Now I have the leading teaching role for cuban salsa and ladies styling alongside Jeremy Tang ( Founder of Street Latin Australia )
